SO SAD: Nottingham Forest Joe Worrall to miss out on subsequent games as injury is detected to be lifetime…

Rangers boss Gerrard is adamant that Joe Worrall will remain.

Prior to Saturday’s match against Bristol City, Forest is facing a defensive injury crisis, and rumors said that new manager Martin O’Neill was thinking of asking Worrall to return to the City Ground.

Nonetheless, Gerrard declared: “We’ve spoken to Nottingham Forrest, and I believe in the agreement they had until January 7 to call Joe back. We never heard from it, so Joe will stay here for the remainder of the season.”

He is a player who has performed incredibly well for our team. He’ll stay here for the rest of the campaign because, in my opinion, he was outstanding during the Old Firm.

“It was good to hear that Forest is really satisfied with the work we’re doing; they haven’t made any requests, just stopped by to see how Joe is doing.”

But Gerrard hasn’t been sluggish in his own transfer business this month, arranging pre-contract deals for Glen Kamara, a midfielder for Dundee, and Jordan Jones, a winger for Kilmarnock, in addition to signing Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis on loan deals.

Although Jones has stated he won’t be switching till his Killie contract expires, the Gers have been in discussions about moving forward with Kamara’s move since the summer.

Gerrard is happy with the arrangement and anticipates that both players will keep working hard for their present employers.

“I won’t be speaking about Glen and Jordan because they are still Dundee and Kilmarnock players,” he stated. I will only state that they have been asked to behave professionally and show respect for the clubs they are attending by the club.
