Gone Too Soon: Newcastle United Top Goal Scorer Alexander Isak Has Been Confirmed…

Arsenal informed Alexander Isak that he ‘would make any team better’ in his transfer message from Newcastle United.

Andy Cole has a lot of experience scoring goals. Thus, it will be interesting to hear the former striker for Newcastle United’s thoughts on current goal hero Alexander Isak.

The Swedish striker is only one goal shy of reaching 20 goals for the Magpies in all competitions this year, continuing the tradition of St. James’ Park supporters’ favorite center-forwards, Cole, Alan Shearer, Demba Ba, and Callum Wilson. But because of that performance and the possibility that United may have to raise money before spending because of financial fair play and the Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations, a number of teams have been linked to a summer transfer for the 24-year-old.

Arsenal has been linked to several moves, but Eddie Howe, the head coach of Newcastle, is naturally eager to maintain his premium asset on Tyneside, even though the player has shown happiness at the club. Cole isn’t expecting Despite not wanting him to go just yet, he believes he would benefit any team because of his impressive black-and-white contributions following his high-profile departure from Real Sociedad in 2022.

Cole informed Betfred, “If it’s true that they might have to sell him, then they will be bitterly disappointed to lose him.” “Isak is a great player, and I truly like him, but his injury history is the one thing that bothers me about him. I’m not sure whether he’s played 10 straight games, but if you could get him to play 10 or 15 straight, he could improve any team because of how highly I think of him.

“He moved to Newcastle, where he performed really well, scoring goals and, when healthy, being able to play center forward and cut in from the left, so if he does go on—which I would be shocked to see—he would improve any group.

On Saturday, when Tottenham visits St. James’ Park, Isak will be looking to score his 20th goal of the year. Almost precisely a year ago, the striker scored twice in Spurs’ 6-1 thrashing from the previous season.
